As per your request, Dralin’s Personal Journal has been retrieved for the 60-day period prior to the attacks brought about by the Thothan last week.  The full journal entry segments has been attached, but I wanted to bring your attention to the following entries in particular:

• March 10, 5986: Today was wonderful.  It’s been over half a year since I've been able to spend a whole day off with my family.  The long hours of research are tough, but the junos are worth it.  I met up with Krozy Reveksa about the gig in Trax City.
• March 15, 5986: Fredrin didn't come in today, and didn't call.  Hopefully all is well.  As one of our lead researchers, we can't afford to lose him.  On a brighter note, we found that another green gem can be used to move earth.
• April 14th, 5986: The 43rd gem is still puzzling the team.  All of the other bluish colored gems relate to uses of water, but this one has been tested in at this count, over 832 experiments, and we know little.  In fact, about the only thing we are certain of is that it is a true gem.  The PDT readings are simply too high to just discount it as a fake.  Fredrin's whereabouts are still unknown.
• April 27th, 5986: I believe we're close to discovering the true power of the 43rd gem.  The bluish hue doesn't seem to be related to the elements of water, but instead seems to have some reaction to thoughts by the holder.
• April 28th, 5986: Something is wrong.  Four of the gems previously inventoried have been discovered missing.  We've dispatched the information to central, but there's no telling how long they've been gone.  Security has been tightened significantly.
• May 3rd, 5986: About four days ago, we had received word of the attacks taking place throughout the main populous.  Apparently, several cities had been destroyed by an as yet, unknown force.  Those who survived had fled, seeking shelter in hiding.  Bakine was lucky enough to escape the desolation, and is now living with us.  It's been so crazy around here.  If all the rumors we have heard are true, then perhaps this time we've gone too far.  We have prepared MRCs in the event a quick departure is warranted.

The entry of May 3^rd is the last, just 1 day prior to the onslaught at the Northern Research Outpost.  The gems are still missing, and the remains of archives on site contain no reference to them.  Fredrin, the fellow researcher mentioned on the 15^th of March and the 14^th of April, is believed to be at the root of the disappearance of the gems.

We aren’t yet certain of Dralin’s location at this time either, but scouts are en-route to Trax City.  The good news is that we’ve tracked down Krozy Reveksa, and have him in Sector 9 for further questioning.  Thus far he’s been rather cooperative.
